Coronavirus Information

COVID-19 3/12/2020 3:00 PM

The governor has given an order that all schools in Pierce County close March 17th through April 24th. We realize this creates many questions for EVERYONE. What does this truly mean for your family?

  • Plan for childcare

  • All events such as bingo, sports, the Shrek play are cancelled until further notice

  • We will be offering nutritional services

  • We will be offering OPTIONAL educational resources. We, as a staff, need some time to coordinate these efforts. We will have a tentative plan in place by Monday afternoon that we will share. Please be patient as we work out the details.

We know we can not replicate the rich in-person teaching and learning experiences that happen within the walls of our school. We are extremely conscious of the fact that ALL students have the right to the same education. We are partnering with OSPI, as are all districts in Pierce, King and Snohomish Counties during this unusual time.  Do not hesitate to reach out to the office at 360-829-0121 with questions or email jsprouse@carbonado.k12.wa.us or tmills@carbonado.k12.wa.us.

In service,

Jessie Sprouse
